At CityReach Church, we are committed to supporting and growing the young adults in our community. Our Young Adults ministry is a space where 18-30 year olds can connect with God, build strong relationships, and live out their faith in a vibrant, supportive community.

 

We believe that young adults are called to be bold, live with purpose, and make a difference in the world around them. Whether you’re in school, starting your career, or navigating the next stage of life, Young Adults is a place for you to grow and find your place in God's story.

 

What to Expect

Young Adults join the main service with the rest of the church but also have a special gathering once a month for worship, Bible teaching, and time spent connecting with others. These gatherings are designed to be a place where young adults can dive deeper into their faith, discuss life and faith, and encourage each other as they journey together.

 

In addition to our monthly gatherings, there are opportunities to get involved in Reach Groups, where young adults can grow together in smaller, more intimate groups based on specific topics and areas of life.

Our Young Adults leaders are passionate about guiding this generation into a deeper relationship with Jesus. They are here to support, mentor, and walk alongside you as you grow in your faith and discover your purpose.

 

Jasmine Vargas – Young Adults Leader

Jasmine Vargas leads the Young Adults ministry at CityReach while balancing a full-time career in healthcare. As the Medical Department Coordinator at Esperanza Health Center—a faith-based organization serving North Philadelphia—she is passionate about holistic care and community impact.

​

Her heart for service is deeply rooted in Philippians 2:2-5, which calls believers to unity, selflessness, and the humble mindset of Christ. For Jasmine, true servanthood isn’t about position but about putting others first and striving to reflect Jesus in all she does.

Fun fact: Jasmine graduated from the University of Valley Forge in 2023 with a degree in Psychology!
